
Sri Chitturi Subba Rao, the visionary founder of the Sri Venkata Krishna Educational Society, was born on March 26, 1951, in Tanuku. Driven by a profound love for his late sister, Smt.Kondepati Sarojini Devi, he established S.K.S.D. Mahila Junior, Degree, and P.G. Colleges in 1982. His commitment to empowering women through education didn't stop there; he also founded IT and D.Ed. colleges, equipped with hostel facilities, to ensure that women have access to both formal and vocational education. His impactful initiatives have significantly transformed the educational landscape for women in the region.
